James recently acquired a mansion in Beverly Hills that boasts of four bedrooms, eight bathrooms, seven fireplaces, a viewing room, a tennis court with lights, and a pool house with two bathrooms. Although the property was initially listed for sale at a staggering $39 million, it remains unknown how much James spent to acquire the estate at 35 years old.
Back in 1934, a house was constructed on a hill which came with a vast area of 2.5 acres. The locality of the house provides stunning views of Los Angeles downtown, the ocean, and the Santa Monica Mountains, making it an ideal place to live. In order to reach the house, there is a lengthy driveway that leads to a motor court and patio. This luxurious abode belongs to Lee Phillip Bell, who made great contributions to the TV industry by creating the popular and long-running soap operas, The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful.
The house boasts a whopping 9,146 square feet of living space, complete with four bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Additionally, there are two cozy bedrooms that provide ample space for lounging. Recently, a popular sports writer by the name of Darren Rovell shared pictures of the luxurious property on Twitter. The snapshots showcase an array of impressive features such as skylights, indoor fountains, and glass sliders that offer unobstructed views of the city. Interestingly, James has already purchased two other homes in Brentwood prior to securing a four-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers back in 2018.
Before joining the Lakers, James made quite the investment in a lavish two-story home worth a whopping $23 million. Among its many luxurious features are eight bedrooms, nine and a half bathrooms, an elevator, a home theater, a wine cellar, and even a designated room for smoking cigars. In addition to this extravagant property, the three-time NBA Champion also owns a 9,440-square-foot house located in Brentwood, which offers six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a formal dining room, a pool, a cabana, and a deck.
The Lakers’ star player, who has four MVP awards, played a key role in leading his team to first place in the western conference. They are set to face off against the Portland Trail Blazers in the playoffs, marking the Lakers’ first playoff appearance since being led by Kobe Bryant in 2012-2013.
With three NBA championships under his belt, James has also earned 15 All-Star team selections and currently ranks third on the NBA’s all-time top scorers list. His main goal now is to bring the NBA championship back to Los Angeles, which hasn’t happened since 2010.
Meanwhile, Lakers player Malik Beasley sent a warning to the rest of the NBA after their sweep in the Western Conference Finals. However, their playoff run ultimately came to an end with a Game 4 loss to the Denver Nuggets.
The story revolves around a team that had a slow start with a 2-10 record but they made some crucial moves at the trade deadline which helped them to perform better after the All-Star break. The rumors of LeBron James joining the team have been doing rounds, but one of the Lakers players believes that the team is already capable of winning a championship. According to Jovan Buha from The Athletic, Malik Beasley was acquired by the Lakers at the trade deadline and after a full training camp, he believes that the team is strong enough to compete. In a three-team deal, Beasley, along with Jarred Vanderbilt and D’Angelo Russell, were sent to the Lakers. After the All-Star break, the team went on a 16-7 run and climbed up the standings to make it to the play-in game. If this group had played together for the entire season, there is a possibility that they would have had a better record and finished higher in the Western Conference standings.
After joining the Lakers, Beasley’s performance has been commendable with an average of 11.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. Despite that, his field goal percentage remains at 39.2%, while his three-pointers stand at 35.3%. Moreover, he has struggled with free throws, managing only 61.9%. Initially, the Lakers believed that Beasley would make a great shooter, but it didn’t work out. As a result, he lost his starting position, and unfortunately, he didn’t get to participate in the NBA Playoffs.
