At 30 years old, she serves as the stunning ambassador for the brand’s Bamboo scent. It seems like she’s relishing in the many perks that come with her role, describing them as “a lot.”
Spotted out and about on Tuesday, Gal Gadot made a stylish appearance in a chic white dress and matching pumps at the launch of Gucci’s new perfume at the Bowery Hotel in New York’s Soho district. The Israeli actress expressed her excitement at the event, telling Entertain This!, “I don’t want to boast, but I’m really happy. It’s like being a kid in a candy store.”
Known for her role as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Gal looked stunning at the lunch event. She jokingly mentioned that it took “two hours of hair and makeup” to achieve her flawless look, admitting, “Honestly, at 8am, I didn’t look like this.”
Earlier, the star had shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse on Instagram, showing her getting pampered by a makeup artist and hairstylist with the caption, “Good times! #Guccibamboo.” The process of getting camera-ready was clearly a fun and glamorous experience for Gal.
Gorgeous dark-haired woman: At 30 years old, this Israeli actress is the latest Super Woman and the ambassador for Gucci’s Bamboo fragrance.
Dressed in all white, the stunning brunette turned heads in her form-fitting dress that hit just above her knees. The actress opted for a more casual look as she arrived at the Bowery Hotel early in the morning, sporting a black trench coat-style jacket over a white t-shirt with ‘Day Dream’ printed in bold black letters. Showing off her 5ft 10ins frame, the former Miss Israel rocked skin-tight black leggings and black flats. Gal, who has a three-year-old daughter named Alma with her husband Yaron Varsano, an Israeli businessman, has been busy promoting her superhero character in recent days.
All set to roll: The ex-Miss Israel hopped into the rear of a sleek, black SUV.
Collaboration is key: The actress openly shared on Instagram that achieving her stunning look required a two-hour hair and makeup session. Over the weekend, the new Wonder Woman attended Comic-Con in San Diego, participating in the Women Who Kick A** panel alongside Gwendoline Christi from Game of Thrones and Hayley Atwell from Agent Carter. Gal disclosed that kicking butt comes naturally to her, having picked up a few combat skills during her two-year service with the Israeli Defense Forces. In an interview for the August issue of Fashion magazine, she credited her military experience for preparing her well for the challenges of Hollywood.
The actress looked relaxed and stylish in her casual attire as she showed up at the venue bright and early at 7:30am.
Grinning from ear to ear, the stunning 5ft 10ins actress flaunted her slender legs in a pair of fitted black jeans. Gal had previously won over Fast & Furious director Justin Lin back in 2008 with her extensive weapons knowledge and even performed her own stunts in the three films she starred in for the franchise.
This experience will undoubtedly come in handy for her upcoming roles in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, set to hit theaters on March 25, as well as her own standalone film as the iconic character Wonder Woman, scheduled for release in 2017. This marks the first time in the character’s 70-year history that she will be brought to life on the big screen, despite Lynda Carter’s portrayal of Wonder Woman on ABC from 1975 to 1979.
Speaking with Fashion Wonder Woman, Gal expressed her pride in portraying the superhero, stating that Wonder Woman symbolizes ultimate strength. She confessed that she never imagined she would one day star in a movie as an influential figure who has inspired countless women.
