It was an extraordinary sight as the Finals MVP’s wife, Ayesha Curry, shared a photograph of her beloved “dudes” holding their hard-earned trophies, while their little bundle of joy nestled close to his father, gazing up at him with admiration. Ayesha couldn’t help but express her astonishment on June 18, along with a series of emojis, as she wrote, “Incredible! Our faith in a higher power never fails to give us blessings.”
In a recent NBA Finals game, the Golden State Warriors emerged victorious against the Boston Celtics, nabbing the 2022 championship. The win not only solidified Stephen’s fourth title in just eight seasons, but it also showcased his determination as he played through a foot injury.
Interestingly, it seems that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Ayesha, Stephen’s wife, recently shared an adorable video on her Instagram Story. The clip captured their son, Canon, showing off his impressive basketball skills by effortlessly dribbling two basketballs at the same time. Ayesha couldn’t help but proudly declare that Canon takes after his daddy in his basketball prowess.
Adding to their basketball-loving brood, Stephen and Ayesha are also the proud parents of two daughters, Riley Elizabeth, aged 9, and Ryan Carson, aged 6.
In a recent episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2021, Ayesha affectionately referred to her son as a “such boy.” However, she shared that there was some initial confusion about the sport his father played.
“Interestingly enough, for quite a while, he actually thought his dad was a golfer because of the pandemic and the lack of basketball season,” Ayesha revealed when speaking about Canon. “But now he’s finally realizing that his dad and uncles are actually basketball players. It’s been really exciting for all of us.”
