LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers’ shining star, added another achievement to his already impressive career in a game against the Sacramento Kings. Despite being 38 years old, James scored an impressive 28 points, with 6 out of 8 two-point attempts, 3 out of 7 three-point attempts, and 7 out of 8 free throws. Additionally, he managed to grab 10 rebounds, make 11 assists, 4 steals, and 6 turnovers. This incredible performance allowed him to become the first player in NBA history to score a triple-double in the 21st century. Furthermore, James also became the second oldest player in NBA history to record a triple-double, with the first one being Karl Malone, who did so in 2003 while playing for the Lakers at the age of 40.

Even though LeBron James played an outstanding game, the Lakers lost to the Kings with a final score of 110-115, marking their first loss at home this season. James has been performing exceptionally well throughout the season, averaging 24.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game in just 11 appearances for the Lakers. He recently surpassed Jason Kidd’s 107 triple-doubles and currently ranks 5th on the all-time NBA triple-double list with 108. The Kings were able to secure a 125-110 win over the Lakers despite James’ impressive performance and the Lakers’ attempt at a fourth-quarter comeback. This marks the Kings’ fourth consecutive victory.

The Kings clinched a win against the Lakers, ending their three-game winning streak. Domantas Sabonis was a key player, contributing 29 points and 16 rebounds to the game. De’Aaron Fox and Kevin Huerter also delivered impressive performances, scoring 28 points each. This victory marked the Kings’ fifth win out of the last six games against their rivals. Huerter’s six 3-pointers significantly added to their victory. LeBron James put up an exceptional performance, scoring 28 points, making 11 assists, and securing 10 rebounds, marking his first triple-double of his 21st NBA season. This achievement allowed him to surpass Jason Kidd’s record, owning the fifth-most triple-doubles in NBA history. The Kings, who have recently secured three continuous wins against the Lakers in Los Angeles, built a solid foundation for their victory with their top three scorers early on, resulting in a 26-point lead in the fourth quarter.

The Lakers made a valiant effort with their starters for a 30-13 run, but unfortunately, they fell short in their comeback attempt. They simply couldn’t narrow the lead to less than nine points before running out of time. This loss was a setback for the Lakers, who had previously rebounded from a three-game losing streak with a commanding victory over Memphis. However, their defensive struggles continued to haunt them against the Kings, who managed to hit 16 three-pointers after the Grizzlies had scored 20 against them in the previous game.
